Buganda Kingdom was surprised that they had received a new born Prince in 2011. The birth of Prince Ssemakookiro caused a stir online and on ground.
With every news channel wanting to know more about the newborn Prince, a media House ended up being sued for provision of baseless information when they published a wrong picture of the expected mother of the Prince.
Prince Ssemakookiro was born on the 24th of July,2011, and was named after his ancestor Ssekabaka Ssemakookiro Wasajja Nabbunga who was King of Buganda from 1797-1814.
Prince Ssemakookiro is the fifth child of Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi, and the second boy in the family.
According to the Prince’s serious face,commanding voice ,and several public appearances, he’s believed to be next in line to the throne!
