The Minister of Security and Veterans Affairs, Hon. Jacob Oboth-Oboth, is set to present a report to Parliament today regarding amendments made to the law governing the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).
It is worth noting that the Supreme Court previously ruled that the law needed revisions and also disagreed with the idea of military courts prosecuting civilians.
