Buzeki Inspects Nakivubo Channel Works at Night.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director Hajjat Sharifa Buzeki carried out a night inspection on the ongoing construction works of Nakivubo Channel and the surrounding drainage systems.

The visit aimed to assess progress on the project designed to end persistent flooding that has been affecting traders’ shops in downtown Kampala.

Hajjat Buzeki said she wanted to ensure the contractors speed up the work so that roads that were temporarily closed during the construction can be re -opened and normal traffic flow restored.

She emphasized KCCA’s commitment to solve the city’s drainage problems and improving infrastructure to create a cleaner, safer, and more organized capital.
