The hospital’s maternity ward, which receives more than 160 newborns each month, has long struggled with limited resources. Complicated deliveries and premature births often overwhelm medical staff, leaving critical gaps in equipment needed to safeguard mothers and infants.

The donation included essential mama kits containing supplies for safe delivery and postnatal care as well as specialized equipment such as incubators and monitors for premature or high‑risk babies. These tools are expected to ease the burden on healthcare workers and improve survival rates for vulnerable infants.

Hospital administrators praised the initiative, noting that the contribution directly addresses urgent needs in maternal and child health. Community leaders emphasized that the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting Ugandan families and strengthening public health systems.

For mothers and newborns in Entebbe and surrounding areas, the gesture is more than material aid it is a symbol of compassion, unity, and hope for healthier beginnings.
