Frank Bulira, who contested for the presidency on the Revolutionary People’s Party (RPP) ticket, has rejected the results announced by the Electoral Commission, claiming irregularities in the vote tallying process.

Bulira alleges that the number of votes officially declared in his favor does not reflect what was counted at various polling stations. He further claims that some of his votes were unlawfully transferred to his fellow presidential contender, Gen. Mugisha Muntu of the Alliance for National Transformation (ANT).

According to the Electoral Commission’s declared results, Bulira finished in fifth position with 45,959 votes, representing 0.41 percent of the total votes cast. He was placed behind Gen. Mugisha Muntu, who came fourth with 59,276 votes, accounting for 0.54 percent.

Bulira argues that these results point to unfairness and lack of transparency in the electoral process. He has vowed to pursue all legal avenues to seek justice and defend the integrity of his votes and the democratic rights of Ugandans.
