Presidential candidate Robert Kyagulanyi, also known as Bobi Wine, has urged traders to unite in pursuit of meaningful change, emphasizing that collective action is key to overcoming the challenges faced by Uganda’s business community.

Speaking during a press conference held in Makerere-Kavule, Kyagulanyi called on traders to seize the current moment as an opportunity to influence the nation’s direction through unity and participation.

“Traders, let us use this opportunity to unite for change and avoid future lamentations,” Kyagulanyi said, stressing that decisive action today could prevent regret in the future.

The event attracted a large turnout of party supporters and members of the trading community, many of whom expressed optimism about his message of solidarity and empowerment.

Kyagulanyi noted that his campaign seeks to rally all sectors of society -particularly small and medium business owners toward a shared goal of social and economic reform. He underscored that sustainable progress depends on citizens working together to demand accountability and fairness in governance.

Concluding his remarks, the National Unity Platform (NUP) leader reiterated that the strength of the business community lies in its ability to act collectively, stating that unity among traders could play a decisive role in shaping Uganda’s future.
