Today on the 2nd of September, Kyagulanyi’s driver who’s also his bodyguard, Achileo Kivumbi has been brought before court again.
Kivumbi was arrested on the 1st of August on allegations of unlawful possession of defence stores.
The leader of opposition, Joel Ssenyonyi says that Kivumbi was tortured, left in cuffs for days,and battered.
Ssenyonyi further says the lawyers are fighting to see that Kivumbi is released on bail,but the court says the bail hearing shall be on the 24th of this month.
However, Ssenyonyi says that the lawyers are trying their best to see that the bail hearing is rescheduled because he is in a bad state ,and needs treatment.
