Mufumbiro Remanded Over Incitement Charges.

Nakawa East parliamentary aspirant Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro appeared before the Nakawa Magistrates Court on today morning, where he was charged with inciting National Unity Platform (NUP) supporters to attack security officers.

Prosecutors alleged that the incident happened on September 4, 2025, in Kampala. Mufumbiro, who pleaded not guilty, was remanded to Luzira Prison until November 6, 2025, as investigations continue.

He is already on remand over separate charges of military-style training and is expected to appear later at Kawempe Court with nine others on related charges.
