The Deputy Spokesperson of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Alex Waiswa Mufumbiro, has been returned to the Nakawa Chief Magistrate’s Court for the hearing of his bail application.
According to NUP’s arrangements, Mufumbiro is expected later today to hold his first rally in Nakawa East, where he plans to ask residents to support his bid to represent them in Parliament.
Mufumbiro’s court appearance comes as his political activities gain momentum, with several NUP supporters expressing hope that he will soon be granted bail so he can fully participate in campaigns.
