Noah Mutwe, a member of the National Unity Platform who was previously arrested and faced various charges, has been granted bail by the Buganda Road Court. The court set his bail at five million shillings, payable in cash, and his sureties were asked to each pay 500,000 shillings non-cash.

The presiding magistrate, Ronald Kayizzi, stated that Noah was being released because he had spent a long time in prison.
