President Museveni Congratulates President Samia on Re-election

His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, President of the Republic of Uganda, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Party on her re-election as President of Tanzania.

President Museveni commended President Samia’s leadership and vision, noting that her victory reflects the trust and confidence the people of Tanzania have placed in her continued stewardship of the nation.

“I congratulate Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, and the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) Party on her re-election as President of Tanzania. This victory reflects the confidence that the people of Tanzania have in her leadership and vision,” President Museveni stated.

He further emphasized the deep and historic bonds of friendship and cooperation between Uganda and Tanzania, expressing his commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.

“Uganda and Tanzania share historic bonds of friendship and cooperation. I look forward to working with President Samia to further strengthen our partnership in trade, infrastructure, and regional integration for the peace and prosperity of our people,” he added.
