Rachael Kawala Appointed New Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson”

Superintendent of Police Rachael Kawala has been appointed the new Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP) Spokesperson, taking over from Senior Superintendent Patrick Onyango.

Before this appointment, SP Kawala served as the Wamala Regional Police Spokesperson, where she handled public communications and media relations for the region. Her new role will see her as the primary spokesperson for the KMP, responsible for communicating police updates, public safety information, and security matters in the capital city.

Police officials welcomed her appointment, noting her experience in media engagement and community policing as key assets for the role.
