Koboko – Uganda,
3rd February 2026.
The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has recovered the missing Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) Integrated Science scripts for 34 candidates of Bamure Primary School in Koboko District.
The scripts were initially reported missing during routine quality control checks. However, they were later found sealed and intact at the school and verified by the police.
The recovered scripts have now been forwarded to UNEB headquarters for marking, and officials confirm that grading will be completed in time for the upcoming selection and placement exercise for secondary schools.
In a statement, UNEB assured all stakeholders, including parents, teachers, and school administrators, that the situation is under control and that measures have been taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
This recovery ensures that the affected candidates’ results will be processed fairly and without delay, maintaining the integrity of the national examination process.
