Ministry of finance permanent secretary Ramathan Ggoobi has today briefed the Press on Quarter 4 expenditure releases, to the issues of Lubowa specialized hospital and the recent developments in the coffee sector.
He says the economy is projected to perform better this year. It is projected to grow by 3.8% this FY higher than 3.4% last year.
The total Q4 @GovUganda release excluding debt is Ushs 5.923 trillion which is 24% of approved budget. By end of FY,total release is projected to amount to Ushs 23.796 trillion. Ushs 1.4 trillion has been released for wage and this includes enhanced lunch allowances for medics.
