Biden and Harris United States President Joe Biden has ended his re-election campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his successor, for the Democratic Party.
Biden,81,said on Sunday that it was the greatest honor to serve but his withdrawal was in the best interest of his Party and Country.
Ms Harris, 59,said that she was honored to be endorsed, adding that she would earn and win,and unite the Country against Trump.
There remains 169 days to the US elections.
