Today marked 31 years since the coronation of His Royal Highness Ronald Muwenda Mutebi ii, in 1993.
Kabaka cautioned his subjects of the self-centered people, whose aim is to divide the Baganda and to put the Kingdom at stake.
Kabaka went ahead and warned those who have been insulting the Katikkiro, saying that himself (Kabaka) has the power to choose his own Katikkiro.
Kabaka also told his subjects that the county chiefs have no authority over who is the King, or who becomes the King.
The Kabaka’s speech has been driven by what has been happening on social media for sometime.
