On the 5th of August, National Unity Platform’s President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu addressed the nation in the party’s weekly conference, at the NUP party offices in Kavule Makerere.
During the conference which was graced by leaders and members of the party, Kyagulanyi addressed to the party’s members three key points;
1. Kyagulanyi launched an online membership registration targeting those in the diaspora.
2. He addressed various issues like rampant corruption, abductions, and torture of the members of opposition by security operatives.
3. Kyagulanyi advised Ugandans not to be divided by tribal sentiments.
