Being the most known market for grocery in Kampala region, the state of Nakasero market is alarming due to the pillage of garbage.
Though Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) trash cars are always seen around Nakasero,the vendors say that KCCA takes a longer time to collect the garbage.
The vendors further say that KCCA is very punctual while collecting the garbage fee but reluctant to collect the trash.
Vendors in the market can be seen selling grocery along heaps of trash from the items that they sell.
