General Kahiinda Otafiire has warned members of Parliament who have the aim to oppress the powers of the Ugandan citizens.
Following the on-going discussions in the ruling party (NRM) about proposing a bill to amend the constitution and adopt a Parliamentary system of government, Otafiire insists that they fought for the rights of Ugandans.
Otafiire further says that power belongs to the people.
It should be known to Ugandans that of the amendment is passed, the citizens will not directly vote for the president as it has always been done.
This therefore means that the party with the majority legislators in the Parliament would elect for the president.
