With effect from the 28th to the 30th of August, Parliament sittings will be held in Gulu.
Earlier on,the opposition through Joel Ssenyonyi had rejected the idea,saying that it was going to be wastage of the tax payer’s money.
However, members of Parliament rejected Ssenyonyi’s suggestion and chose to go ahead with the plans of having the sittings in Gulu.
It is said that members of Parliament will receive an allowance for every day they spend in Gulu.
