Rtd Gen David Ssejusa has criticised the court’s ruling on the case of Parliamentary Commissioner’s appreciation “gift”.
He says that the ruling was made while court had gone to vacation. Gen Ssejusa further says that there are documents he needed from the Supreme Court but was told courts were on vacation.
But the same evening ,he watched news that Mpuuga had won the case of corruption against him.
Gen Ssejusa says that according to Rule 4 in the Judicature Vacation Rules, only criminal cases are worked on ,and not civil cases like one of Mpuuga unless they have a “CERTIFICATE OF URGENCY “.
