David Livingstone Kiganda was born to Mrs Restytutah Nampijja Ssemaganda and the late Richard Kalido Ssemaganda on the 17th of August 1964 in Buwenda, Masaka.
Bishop has 6 kids and is married to Cindy Kiganda a pastor at his church.
He got saved in 1986 following preaching efforts of the late Apostle Deogratious Balabyekubo and Dr Joseph Sserwada.
Dr ministered under Dr Sserwada until he founded Christianity Focus center ministries in 1990,in Mengo Kisenyi.
Pastor became popular after “WEDDEMU” hit the waves of 88.5 Super FM of pastor Ssematimba ,every Sunday morning.
Bishop Kiganda who is a senior Pastor of CFC ministries and managing Director of, His Kingdom Broadcasting Services Ltd .
Once a pineapple seller to bus travellers in Masaka ,now owns a couple of businesses which include schools.
He’s also an overseer of over 100 church branches in the country under CFC.
The Bishop holds the vibrant Lunch hour services with a purpose of encouraging, motivating and impacting towards the community on a daily basis.
In 2000,he was elected Divisional Chairman of National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches (NFBAPC-U) ,Kampala Central Division.
During 2005, Bishop was elected as the District Chairman and overseer of NFBAPC-U ,Kampala District.
In 2020 following the closing of Churches due to Covid -19 ,Bishop Kiganda advocated for their reopening.
He attained the title of Doctor after he was conferred with a honorary doctorate degree from Zoe life theological college in the USA.
On the 17th of August, Bishop Kiganda will be making 60 years of age and 38 years under ministry.
