The government of Uganda, through the Ministry of Transport, has suspended the operations of YY Coaches for 15 days, preventing them from using the country’s roads. This decision follows a series of severe accidents involving the company’s buses that have resulted in multiple fatalities.
The restriction takes effect today at 7:00 PM, requiring all YY buses to return to designated parking areas before the deadline. The suspension will remain in place until further notice.
