President Museveni has extended the 21 Days lockdown to mitigate the spread of Ebola in Mubende and Kassanda District.
According to the Minister of Health Dr Ruth Aceng, the 21 day lockdown that ended today has further been extended for the two districts Mubende and Kasanda.
“All restrictions and directives that were issued by the President remain in place” Says Aceng.

She has also appealed to the population in Kampala metropolitan area to cooperate and avoid spreading the disease further since some cases were reported in the area.
